It would appear that despite her loss to Cristiane Cyborg Santos earlier this year that Gina Carano continues to be one of the most popular female sporting stars. According to the collectors site, The Beckett Blog, Carano’s front cover appearance on the ‘Body’ issue of the ESPN magazine has become a hot item for collectors.

The site reports that the issue featuring the MMA star has been selling for as high as $57 on eBay since it was released earlier this month. The special issue of the magazine had a number of different covers featuring famous athletes posing naked, and Carano’s cover has so far been the most popular amongst collectors.

Here’s a look at the prices that the various versions of the cover have been fetching…

Gina Carano – $57

Carl Edwards — $51

Serena Williams — $19.99

Sarah Reinertsen — $19.99

Adrian Peterson — $15

Dwight Howard — $14.99

Meanwhile, as we reported yesterday, Strikeforce’s Scott Coker doesn’t expect her to fight again until the Summer of 2010 at the earliest.
