UFC 111 marks the beginning of a long run of major events for the UFC, and as such the promotion is going all-out on the promotional front.

Along with the three-part ‘Primetime’ series which focuses on the headline title fight between GSP and Dan Hardy, there is also a countdown show for the event as well.

The Countdown to UFC 111 touches on the GSP Vs Hardy bout as well, but also throws the spotlight on the interim heavyweight title fight between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin, and the rematch between Jon Fitch and Thiago Alves – a major fight at the top of the welterweight division.
