Main Card:
Mike Thomas Brown vs. Jose Aldo
I’m looking forward to seeing how Aldo performs and am intrigued to see who wins the stand-up battle. There’s every chance that this one is going to be won on the ground though and despite rumors of Aldo’s impressive submission skills I’d lean more towards Brown’s undeniable wrestling prowess as being the deciding factor here.
I’m going for a decision victory for Mike Brown.
—
Leonard Garcia vs. Manny Gamburyan
Garcia has some serious hands but I don’t expect Gamburyan to give him much time to use them before taking him down to the mat and keeping him there until the final bells rings.
Decision victory for Manny Gamuryan.
—
Rob McCullough vs. Karen Darabedyan
Recent performances from ‘Razor’ Rob have been less than thrilling while Darebedyan has shown real potential in some of the lesser known promotions. He doesn’t have the experience or level of competition that McCullough has however, and that’s the reason I’m hesitant to pick the late replacement here.
Rob McCullough by decision.
—
Danny Castillo vs. Shane Roller
When two wrestlers meet in the cage it often ends up turning into a stand-up fight. With that in mind I believe Castillo will have the edge and can finish this inside the distance.
I’m choosing Danny Castillo by TKO in the second round.
