Two more fighters will be joining Paul Daley and Kimbo Slice on their way out of the UFC after their latest defeats at UFC 113.

Yoshiyuki Yoshida and Jonathon Goulet, who both fought in the prelims of the Montreal event have now been given the bad news that they are surplus to requirements.

36 year old Yoshida lost by unanimous decision to Mike Guymon, his third loss in his last four fights in the octagon so his release will come as no great surprise.

Yoshida’s manager informed mmafighting earlier today that the next step for his fighter may be a move down to lightweight, and he still has a desire to fight in either the US or Europe rather than returning to the Japanese circuit.

Goulet lost by knockout at the hands of Marcus Davis at the weekend in the thirty year old’s first fight back after a seventeen month layoff due to injury.   Goulet, who had fought for the UFC on and off since 2005, leaves with a record in the promotion of 4-5.

Posting on his facebook account after hearing the news Goulet stated, “Just got released f—!!!  Good news is, I still can fight everywhere in the world, I’m not injured and will be back stronger!! What doesn’t kill us only make you stronger!!”
